My New Year's Resolutions
It's that time of year again when people post their New Year's resolutions and goals. However, do may people follow their plans out fully? I happen to be a prime example of a grade A quitter when it comes to making and following my own resolutions. So why not share a blog post about them?!
- Be a kinder and more compassionate person. I had an interesting first semester of college that really put me into emotional situations. In some cases, I acted correctly and maturely, while in others, not so well. For myself, I want to handle situations to maturely. I had people come at me crazy and be petty towards me last year, and I cut those people out of my life and resolved to myself that no matter what my haters say, I'll take the high road and not stoop to their levels of crazy.
- TIME MANAGEMENTTTT. This is a big one. I want to divide my time up wisely among school, work, and play. So I made a weekly calendar and a monthly calendar that I can edit on the go and print.
- Thank my family and friends in words and actions. I tend to be a slightly quiet and nonchalant about things, so I really want to take time and thank everyone who has been in my life. I know I have been a handful at times, but they have always supported.
- Working out and gaining weight. Check out my previous post in this link to learn about this goal.
