How did I start out? To begin with, I took before pictures of myself and I assessed what I wanted to change about myself physically. I've always been on the tall and lanky side, so I want to gain weight. The main areas I want to focus on are tightening and toning my core and gaining weight in my thighs, glutes, and arms.
Now for some inspirational motivation! I choose to aspire to get Teyana Taylor's body fitness. I looked at some of her old pictures and we had similar body types, so I figured if she could work hard to get there, I can too! I actually googled her workout and I was actually surprised to see that she claimed dancing and eating everything as her fitness secret! Sadly, that was my own little fitness routine (definitely not at the same intensity), so I decided to do a mash-up of Pinterest 30-day challenges. Why 30-day challenges? Well for one, it is a short time commitment for me and is free to a broke college kid like myself. Also, each day already has a set workout, with each additional day increasing in intensity and amount, so there is no need for me to plan out everything.
Below are the following Pinterest Challenges that I am currently doing. I definitely advise others to go to Pinterest and check out the hundreds of challenges to choose from! As I go through my personal mash-up, I will post periodically updates and my progress to the blog!
