We all crave that silky, smooth, blemish free skin, but how do we get there?

For me, my skin is happy on its own. I rarely wear foundation and concealer (only when I have a rough day or dressing up), so here are my secrets to having happy skin! 😏
  • WATER. WATER IS YOUR FRIEND. I cannot stress this enough. If your body is 70% water, do you think that single cup of water you had at lunch is enough for your body? It is recommended that you have at least 60 ounces of water per day. I use an app to track not only food (gaining weight) but for tracking the amount of water I take in. Being hydrated will flush pimples and what not out of your system and keep you energized. 
  • SODA SUCKS. I cut out soda from my daily routine. Now I can't even have it without breaking out. Soda is full of stuff that will affect your skin. 
  • LOTION AND MOISTURIZERS. Dry skin is not good for you. It will make you look older and ashy. Just not a good look. Always keep a tiny bottle of lotion on your person for when your skin gets dry when you're out and about.
  • EXFOLIATE (From time to time). It gets rid of dead cells and debris on the outer layer of your skin that your normal luffa/sponge doesn't get off. You can buy a scrub from the store or even do a DIY scrub for cheaper.
  • CLEAN YOUR FACE CORRECTLY. We all had those days where we crash after coming in late or having a long day. Wipe your face down first! One reason is to clear out your pores, but another reason is that when you fail to clean your face and lay down for bed, the germs of the day are all on that pillow/surface you're laying on. 
  • WASH YOUR BEDDING WEEKLY. Your body sheds a lot of different things, and beds tend to hold it all. Laying in month old bedding? No Bueno and it makes my skin crawl.
